Our {Not So} Little Weekend
To be perfectly honest, Sean & I really enjoy time at home. We're homebodies who don't go out nearly as often as most people we know, and the only downside is that, without specific plans, our weekends can end up looking pretty lame to an outside viewer.
This weekend, though, we were an equal combination of adventurous, busy, social, artsy, and fun. {This was a big deal for us!}
The weekend began with a trip to the Rochester Public Market (which I previously posted about here) where Sean and I enjoyed a delicious veggie burrito and a homemade donut. Yum. We also got some amazing deals on fabulous local produce and are looking forward to cooking some tasty meals this week.

Then, we attempted to go blueberry picking but got a tiny bit lost. The good news is that this made for some quality "explore a new area" time, which actually ended up being quite enjoyable.
Later in the day we went to the JCC for a musical revue fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. As you all know, I'm a theater lover and really enjoyed watching local talent perform some of my favorite showtunes. Plus, it was for a great cause :)
On Sunday, we went to see "The Butler" at the Little Theater after a really tasty Indian dinner. I've been wanting to go to The Little for a while (in fact, it's on my pre-baby bucket list!) and was not disappointed. It's a non-profit local theater that puts on independent films and has a cute little cafe inside! Plus, the movie was excellent; I highly recommend it.
It was great to get out of the house, visit with friends, and explore this great little city, but I think we're about ready for the next time we can just stay in!
