{Fall}ing in Love
Dear Charlotte,
I am, admittedly, in love... three times over.
First, of course, with your handsome daddy. Second (but most importantly) with you! And third, with my favorite time of year - fall.
I love just about everything about this season, including the crisp air, the changing colors, the seasonal activities (hayrides and apple picking, to name a few), the food (apple cider donuts, actual cider, pumpkin-flavored everything), and the decorations (our front porch is proudly displaying bright yellow mum, three pumpkins, a scarecrow, and a seasonal flag, and our living room & kitchen smell like apple- and pumpkin-scented candles ).
This year, though, it is extra special... because you are here to enjoy it with me!
Yesterday, we went to Newark to visit great-grandma Pat and grandma Jeanette for lunch. After we ate, we went to The Apple Shed - one of my very favorite places - where we saw some farm animals, got our first pumpkins & mum, and enjoyed some delicious apples! (I snuck you a little taste and you went crazy for it!)
It's my hope that eventually you fall in love with this season, too... just like I have!
