{re}visiting this blog
(tap tap tap)
Hello? Is this thing on?
It's been a while, internet. The last time I visited this space was in 2015, so happy 10 year anniversary (?) to my last blog post, and the girl who wrote it. The version of me writing this now is quite a bit different. She's grown up and changed, but at her core is the same optimistic, enthusiastic soul she always was.
Revisiting these posts feels... weird, to stay the least. In the past ten years, a lot of life has happened.

- Witnessed my mom and sister get sober
- Moved three more times and bought a house
- Dated... a lot
- Fell in love

- Got tattooed, twice
- Adopted a golden retriever
- Lost my beloved aunt to cancer
- Got married

This is only a snapshot, but it's safe to say that the life I'm living in 2025 is not the life I expected when I was writing this blog 10 years ago.
This space, from now on, will be a chronicle of my truth. A space where I am honest about life. A space where I can share the things that thrill me to my core, along with the things that are not quite so joyous. Because at the end of the day, that's what life is, right? A collection of our toughest times, the most beautiful ones, and every mundane moment in between?
Welcome.
