Friday's Letters
Dear Readers,
Today, I am adopting "Friday's Letters" from a fellow blogger (see image below). I look forward to making this a weekly tradition!
Dear Computer Screen,I wish I had not been staring at you all day long, because you have made my eyes hurt.
Dear Friday,
Thank you for finally coming... after waiting for seven days, I was more than ready to see you again.
Dear Work Friends,Thank you for a) making me happy during the hours of 8am and 5pm, M-F. I wouldn't enjoy my weekdays nearly as much if it weren't for you. And b) thank you for reading this blog (and encouraging me to start it)!
Dear Self,Way to go! You made yourself a delicious, healthy dinner last night (homemade Eggplant Parmesan) and it came out really well!
Dear Husband,My apologies for making a delicious, homemade Eggplant Parmesan while you were out of town. I promise to make it for you sometime in the future. Also, I hope you are enjoying your "work vacation." I hope you know that I miss you quite a bit! Home isn't quite home without you.
Dear End-of-the-Workday,Please hurry.
Dear Book on CD that I have been listening to on my way to & from work,Thank you for being so entertaining. You have made my hour commute significantly more pleasing, even if I have cried a few times. I look forward to reuniting with you in a few short hours.
Dear Rhode Island,You have been very hot lately, and though I am thankful that it isn't winter, I do wish that you'd tone down the humidity & heat.

ReplyDeleteI was listening to "A Dog's Journey," which is a sequel to "A Dog's Purpose." If you haven't read either, and are a dog lover, I HIGHLY recommend them! Great stories! :)
