Blogging as therapy
There are a lot of things I love about blogging. Even though no one very few people read {re}discovering home, it's a great creative outlet for a former Creative Writing major (i.e. me).
The thing that has surprised me most about writing this blog is what I've been writing. There are things that I write about (like this and this) that I would never just randomly bring up in conversation, but that are part of who I am. Blogging is therapeutic because it allows me to express these things without having to awkwardly bring up serious topics* in the middle of a conversation.
So thanks to my readers (the ones I know in "real life" and the ones I don't) for encouraging me to continue along this blogging journey!
*Disclaimer: my husband is exempt. He is aware of all of these things (and more) and is not a stranger to my awkward conversation starters.
