Me, Myself & I {Link Partay!}

I'm very excited to be participating in the Me, Myself, and I Linky Partay... thanks to My Beautiful Crazy Life for hosting!

1. What was your favorite gift given to you as a child?

When I was really young, my favorite gifts were Polly Pockets... anyone else remember these things?! Honest to God, I can still remember the theme song from about 20 years ago!

2. Christmas is almost here, what is that one Christmas song you could listen to on repeat?

My favorite Christmas carol of ALL TIME is "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" (preferably the Judy Garland version)!

3. What are a few of the items on your Christmas list this year?

-A matching Vera Bradley purse/wallet so that I can finally be organized!
-An iPod dock/radio system (with a remote) so that I can listen to music in the living room/kitchen and charge my iPhone at the same time!
-Rosetta Stone, since we're still dreaming about traveling to another country
4. Do you and your family have any special holiday traditions?

Every Christmas Eve, we go to mass together and then have a lasagna dinner at my grandma's house. I look forward to it every year!

5. Which do you prefer: wrapping paper or gift bags? Why?

Hm... probably wrapping paper!

  1. Not only do I remember Polly Pocket's, but I had the one on the left growing up! And in my opinion you can never go wrong with a new Vera purse!! Happy Wednesday!

  2. POLLY POCKET! I LOVE YOU!

I went home for Christmas a couple years back and went through some boxes in our attic... lo and behold, I found one of my old Polly Pockets! Amazing!

Isn't it sad (and kind of not at the same time) that Polly Pocket isn't as small nowadays? I mean, I understand it is a serious choking hazard... but the appeal was how TINY it was!

I would SO BUY that now. Just for me. Ha!

  3. My sister and I were SUPER into Polly Pocket. We had at least 20 and we'd line them all up for block parties. So fun!

  7. Awww, I forgot all about my little Polly Pockets. They were so great weren't they. I wish they were the same as they used to be. I bought a bunch of Polly Pocket stuff for my little girl for Christmas and it is definately not the same. Thanks for following me, I am following you right back. Judy Garlands voice is fabulous.
