When I Grow Up

When I grow up, I want to be healthy (physically, financially, and spirtitually).

I will (finally) get my wedding dress dry cleaned & preserved.

I'll take lots of pictures and videos of my life. When I am really old, I want to relish in the everyday memories of my past.

I'll be a mom. A good one :)

I will be a really good good enough cook, make dinner with Sean most nights of the week, and have family dinners around the table.

I'll be a mom first, then a friend.

I will appreciate my sweet husband, wonderful friends, and awesome family.

When I grow up, I'll update my house so it doesn't remain in the 2010s when the world has moved on to the 2030s.

I'll travel somewhere new (or somewhere awesome) as often as possible.

I will remember that the good in the world outweighs the bad.

I'll get excited every time that new, innovative technologies are unveiled. (I'm still waiting on text messages that can be sent with the mind!)

I'll make time for the things that I love, like musical theater.

I will actually make/do the things that I pin to my Pinterest boards (especially the recipes and the home organization/decoration).

I won't complain about the prices for organic, healthy foods... I'll just suck it up and pay the price for the sake of my family's health!

I want to have a house. Preferably with a red front door.

When I grow up... I want to be happy!

  1. I think "be a mom first, then a friend' is an awesome one! My mom sometimes tried to be too much of a friend and I just wanted nothing to do with it ever.

  2. I love the 'be a mom first, then a friend' also...as far as your wedding dress...pft, I have no plans on dry cleaning mine. It's going to be a dress up for my children, I just can't justify the expense of dry cleaning it (I was quoted a minimum of $300!!)

    1. What?! $300? I haven't even had a quote yet but not I'm not sure if I want to...

Thanks for the info and for making me feel better about not being the only one!
