Pregnancy Milestones

Dear baby girl,

This was a big weekend for us, for two reasons!

First of all, I went out to lunch on Friday afternoon with your grandma and, for the first time, someone who didn't officially know that I was pregnant asked, "How far along are you?" It was such an exciting moment for me! It seems that, between last week and this week, my belly really popped!

Also, last night I felt you moving around a lot while I was reading in bed. I asked your daddy to touch my belly to see if he, too, could feel you move. His response was "Are you flexing a muscle" to which I replied no, obviously, since I have no stomach muscles! But he did indeed feel you kicking - and you're only about one pound! It was such a special moment for us.

Tomorrow in the early hours of the morning we will be leaving our house to catch a flight from Buffalo to Orlando for our Disney World Babymoon! We are so, so excited to make these special memories together and look forward to re-capping our trip when we return. Technically, it'll be your first trip to Disney, too! Your daddy keeps joking that he wants me to put a pin on my belly that says "First Visit." What would you think of that? :)
