Just a profession of love
Today's "blog every day in May" prompt is:
Without being too sappy or long-winded with this post, I will make my profession of love short and sweet. My sister is one of the strongest, smartest, and most compassionate women I know. We've had our share of ups & downs (what sisters haven't, after all?) but we're finally at a place where we respect each other's differences and are just as much friends as we are family. She has many qualities that I wish I had - she is fiercely loyal, confident, able to stand up for herself (and anyone she cares about), articulate, and has one of the biggest hearts in the world. She's also incredibly beautiful (inside & out). I'm so thankful to have her for a sister, and I honestly do not know what I would do without her. In the earlier years of my life, there isn't one happy memory that I have that doesn't include Mary; there are so many memories from our childhood that I still think about regularly. So now, everyone knows how much I love and adore my wonderful little sis!
Publicly profess your love and devotion for one of your blogger friends. What makes them great? Why do you love them? If you don't have blogger friends, talk about a real-life friend or even a family member. My first reaction to this was a little bit of sadness because I haven't made any real blogger friends (but if anyone wants to become friends, I'm up for it!). My second reaction, though, was who on earth am I going to profess my love and devotion to? I'm thankful to have many real-life friends and family members whom I adore. But, after much contemplation, I decided to write about my (not so) little sister, Mary.

This makes me both proud and happy. I love you both so very much!
