Things that make me uncomfortable
Today's "Blog every day in May" prompt is:
Things that make you uncomfortable
- Confrontation
- Discussions about politics or religion with people whose views are different than mine
- The feeling of wet hands rubbing together (seriously)
- When a cell phone goes off during church, at the theater, etc. (even if it isn't mine)
- People who use the word "gay" or "retarded" as adjectives in conversation
- The misuse of their/there/they're and your/you're
- Lazy eyes (sorry if that sounds mean!)
- Jokes that I don't understand
- When the volume on the TV or in the car is on anything but a multiple of 5
- Sleeping without white noise in the background
- When there are plenty of seats available but a stranger decides to park it right next to me
- Looking down on the world from very high up (i.e. tall buildings) and feeling like I'm going to fall
- Awkward dreams... they're obviously out of my control, but they sometimes make me very uncomfortable
- Bluetooth earpieces... and when people talk into them in public and you can't tell who they're talking to
- Eating at a sit-down restaurant or going to the movie theater alone
- The sheer number of things that make me uncomfortable (15? That can't be good!)

My husband is the same way about #9. I tease him about it, but it really bugs him.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same with #11. It's so annoying!
Ha! I'm glad it isn't just me ;)
