Things that make me uncomfortable

Today's "Blog every day in May" prompt is:
Things that make you uncomfortable
  1. Confrontation
  2. Discussions about politics or religion with people whose views are different than mine
  3. The feeling of wet hands rubbing together (seriously)
  4. When a cell phone goes off during church, at the theater, etc. (even if it isn't mine)
  5. People who use the word "gay" or "retarded" as adjectives in conversation
  6. The misuse of their/there/they're and your/you're
  7. Lazy eyes (sorry if that sounds mean!)
  8. Jokes that I don't understand
  9. When the volume on the TV or in the car is on anything but a multiple of 5
  10. Sleeping without white noise in the background
  11. When there are plenty of seats available but a stranger decides to park it right next to me
  12. Looking down on the world from very high up (i.e. tall buildings) and feeling like I'm going to fall
  13. Awkward dreams... they're obviously out of my control, but they sometimes make me very uncomfortable
  14. Bluetooth earpieces... and when people talk into them in public and you can't tell who they're talking to
  15. Eating at a sit-down restaurant or going to the movie theater alone
  16. The sheer number of things that make me uncomfortable (15? That can't be good!)

Comments

  1. My husband is the same way about #9. I tease him about it, but it really bugs him.
I'm the same with #11. It's so annoying!
