A Day in the Life (& an announcement!)

Wednesday, May 15, 2013:

6:30-7:30am
I woke up, showered, got dressed, put on my makeup, and ate breakfast. (And then, I took this picture!)

8:30-noonish
Summer is a much less busy time of year for our office because we have far fewer student appointments. So, I have a lengthy list of projects to complete when I actually have time! The first task I'm trying to complete is organizing all of my paper files. I got a lot done earlier this week, but have a "miscellaneous" pile that needed to be sorted. I got through most of it!

12-1pm
Attended a Webinar about LinkedIn. It was actually really interesting!

1-2pm
Ran some errands and bought a "real fruit smoothie" that turned out to be ice and very sugary strawberry-banana mix. Since I didn't say anything at the cafe, I only ended up choking down about half of it. What a waste of $4!

2-4:30pm
Completed most of another summer task - did some good ol' data analysis! I used an Access database but handwrote the results (which is what you see in the photo).

I also met with a student, but did not take her photo (for obvious legal reasons)!

4:30-6pm
Picked up Sean from work and went to my co-worker's house to look through some stuff* before her garage sale this weekend.
*I'm being elusive on purpose. You will see why soon enough.

6-8pm
Took Polly for a walk at our beautiful apartment complex...

Cooked dinner (homemade pasta primavera - mmm!) and cleaned up!

Sean chopping our veggies! Yum...
8pm
Logged into Facebook and posted this photo with the following caption:
"Sean & I are excited to announce that our family will be growing by two feet in November!"

After that...
we did some reading, and then went to bed (because I'm usually tired pretty early these days)!

YAY!

P.S. The "stuff" that we got at my co-worker's was a lot of baby stuff - clothes, toys, accessories, etc. It was so much fun. The collection of baby stuff has officially begun!
