The Story of my Life

I was born in a small town outside of a small city, where I lived a blissful life with my mom, dad, and little sister. Most of my family lived nearby (including both grandmas who each lived within walking distance) so holidays were always big gatherings that everyone would attend.  The joy in my life was temporarily defeated when my dad left and my parents got divorced, but my sister and I got through it survived and, I think, became stronger because of it. I am one of the few who loved high school – I had great friends, was involved with a lot, especially music/theater, and had a boyfriend (my first love) – and would, to this day, go back in a heartbeat if I had the chance. After high school, I went to college in the small city near my hometown, where I majored in Creative Writing and met the love of my life.

I moved to Rhode Island the summer after college graduation, started graduate school, got engaged, and lost my beloved maternal grandmother within a 4 month time span. Each of these things has permanently impacted me in one way or another. After graduating with my master’s degree, I got married to my sweetie pie hubby and, a year later, we moved back to our “home city” where we intend to start our own family soon.

And this, in under 250 words, is the story of my life!
